Yes. You will need to show proof of scuba certification before participating on a diving trip. However we understand that cert cards can be misplaced or lost. Just contact us PRIOR to the trip so we can look up your certification and not delay departure of the trip.
There is no age restriction on our surface charters. However due to the average water depth of the area we have a 12 year old minimum age restriction on all scuba trips except scuba training dives when you are under direct supervision of an instructor.
For both our surface and diving trips we are licensed for 6 total paying customers. For dive trips, "bubble watchers" are included in the total number.
Unfortunately no. However we can recommend several shops in town if you need rental equipment or would like to upgrade your existing equipment. We do offer weights for you to use at no extra charge.
Yes and no. We have plenty of soft weights and limited hard weights for you to use at no extra charge. If you need tanks we offer Air for $6.50/tank and Nitrox 32% & 36% for $12/tank. All tanks are AL 80's.
It depends on time of year and the weather. The only thing that doesn't change is the water depth which ranges on average from 50-110ft depending on the site we are on. Water temperatures fluctuate. You can expect upper 60's to lower 70's in the spring and late fall. In the summer they can get as high as mid 80's. Visibility is typically better during the spring. 80ft days are not unheard of. Summertime you can expect an average of 40ft. Some days it's 20ft, other days it's 60ft.
YES! We are one of the few charters in the Destin area that allows spearfishing. We also encourage Lionfish hunting on all dive trips.
No. The boat has a fishing license and covers everyone on board. We are licensed for fishing/spearfishing/lobstering out to 9 nautical miles from shore. We got you covered!
Depending on which trip you sign up for, the charter will last between 4-5 hours.
